Baseball Victoria: Sunshine Eagles face tough clash

13 Dec, 2011 12:00 AM
IT will be Bonbeach before bonbons for Chad Galloway and the Sunshine Eagles in the Baseball Victoria summer league division 2.

Galloway (pictured) is one of the Eagles' most productive hitters this season and has a pivotal role to play in Sunday's blockbuster final game before the holiday break.

Sitting mid-table after 13 games, the Eagles face one of their toughest assignments of the season when they travel to Bicentennial Park in Chelsea for a showdown with title contenders Bonbeach.

This one will be huge for Eagles player-coach Shaun Moore and his team as it provides a chance to stay in touch with the leading teams in the division and a gauge on how they are travelling at the break.
