THE true spirit of Christmas will be brought to life in a pair of special concerts this Thursday.
Just in time for the International Day of People with Disability (Saturday), Mambourin Enterprises will hold its 10th annual 'expressive arts concert'.
Clients of the Braybrook day service, which supports people with disabilities, are among about 30 performers in So This Is Christmas.
Facilitator Wayne Style says performers like Elvis impersonator Daniel Quattrucci (pictured) have been putting in a lot of practice for the concerts.
"The clients from the day service come up with the ideas and we create a script around that. This year we're looking at the meaning of Christmas and how it's not just about presents but things like helping the homeless and disadvantaged."
The performances, at 11am and 7pm, are at Altona City Theatre, 115 Civic Parade. Tickets: $8 adults, $6 concession (available at the door).
