THE InterChurch Gambling Taskforce, including Salvation Army major Brad Halse (pictured), has taken its campaign for pokies reform to Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
Representatives of church groups across Brimbank and the western suburbs descended on Maribyrnong MP Bill Shorten's Moonee Ponds office on Thursday, pressing him to take their cause to Canberra.
The group presented Mr Shorten with signed postcards they want sent to the Prime Minister.
The postcards outline its requests for pokie reforms. At the top of the list is changing legislation to enable gamblers to set loss limits when they start a gaming session.
