Man sought over robbery

09 Mar, 2010 09:21 AM
POLICE are still looking for a man who robbed a woman at knifepoint in a shopping centre toilet last year.

Detectives are investigating the attack at the Delahey Village centre on Friday, July 3.

A woman entered a cubicle in the female toilets at the shopping centre in Taylors Road about 7pm and placed her handbag on the floor.

It is believed a man hiding in the next cubicle used a knife to force open the woman's cubicle door.

He pointed the knife at the woman and stole her handbag before running to the south entrance of the shopping centre.

The man is described as Caucasian, with a thin build and a goatee beard.

He was wearing a black hooded top and a beanie.

Police have released an image, above, of a man who may be able to assist them with their investigation.
