Health tips in a lunch box

21 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
WHAT'S in the box? For many schoolchildren, the answer is not as healthy as it could be.

A 'Yummy Lunchbox: Healthy Choices for Children' session at Sunshine library will show parents how to put together scrumptious and healthy lunches for children like Aidan, 3, and Cooper, 2 (pictured with Peter Head).

ISIS Primary Care dietitian Lucy Tartaro will cover topics such as creative lunchbox ideas, healthy eating and good nutrition.

The session is aimed at helping parents with school-age children tackle health issues such as childhood obesity.

It's on Monday, March 5, from 11am.

Bookings essential: call 92494640.
