Extra eyes for safer roads

07 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
POLICE are cracking down around the Main Road East-West rail crossing and St Albans shopping district in a bid to improve road safety.

The enforcement follows the recent death of a man at the level crossing and is part of an ongoing campaign to reduce road trauma.

Brimbank's Sergeant Rod Stein said people found committing road safety offences would receive a fine.
