Braybrook girl escapes attacker

A 14-year-old girl Braybrook fought off an attacker who indecently assaulted her on South Road last night.

The victim was walking along South Road about 50 metres east of Kingsford Street around 6.20pm.

The man is alleged to have tapped the victim on her shoulder, pushed her into a fence and indecently assaulted her.

The victim escaped after a struggle and raced home where she raised the alarm.

The offender, aged in his late 30s, and Caucasian, ran east towards Central West Plaza.

He was wearing a blue hoodie with tight blue jeans.
